(Washington, DC)  —  Authorities are reportedly looking at the step-father of the elementary school student who gave cocaine to his classmates yesterday. The child, who is thought to be eight or nine-years-old, apparently found the drugs in the back seat of his step-dad’s car as he was being dropped off at Thomson Elementary School in Northwest.  At least four of the students were hospitalized after they ingested it.  WJLA reports that police from DC and Prince George’s County spent hours yesterday searching the Maryland home where the step-dad lives.  Police have not released his name, nor the name of the fourth grade student alleged to have brought the drugs into school.
