The crown jewel of awards season–The Academy Awards–will be taking place this Sunday. Everyone will be glued to the red carpet to see what the women of Hollywood will be wearing to the Oscars. In honor of the men of Hollywood, who usually get far less fashion buzz than their counterparts, here is a look I put together for a client.

I appreciate a man that takes fashion risks but, personally, there is nothing more attractive than when a man goes classic at a formal. My advice to men that want to stand out at a formal: keep it classic, focus heavily on fit, choose quality furnishings. For men, it’s the little details like these that make all the difference. For instance, notice the Italian cut, the quality stitching, and fabric band that lines the top of the Ferragamo shoe. Details like these do not go unnoticed and will surely set a man apart from the rest.
