Clothing retailer American Apparel, has had a history of racist and biased moments but hired transgender model Isis King for their “Gay O.K.” ad campaign.
Isis was a contestant on Tyra Bank’s “America’s Next Top Model.” She didn’t win the season but she is one of the more notable and successful models!
