During Friday's edition on NewsOne Now, Jerrold Winter, Ph.D, Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of New York at Buffalo spoke with Roland Martin about pain management, opioid dependence and the true meaning of addition.

Since the untimely death of the late great Prince, rumors have been circulating about what actually caused the star's sudden death.

The source, who is unnamed, said it is not clear if the opioid "caused or contributed to the musician's death."

TMZ is reporting that Lamar Odom says he doesn’t have a crack problem.  His denial is reminiscent of the late Whitney Houston when she was asked the same question years before her passing.
