The summer vibes hit D.C. in full swing last night as Majic 102.3/92.7 launched the first Majic Wednesday’s event of the season at Sycamore & Oak. Hosted by the one-and-only Vic Jagger, the evening brought the community together for a night filled with music, energy, and unforgettable moments.

The event opened with a powerful performance from A.F.R.O.B.A.M, who had the crowd on their feet and moving to every beat. The excitement continued as DC’s own legend, Sugar Bear, and the iconic E.U. delivered a special set of Go-Go tunes that took the energy to another level. Their performance was more than music; it was a celebration of Chocolate City’s rich culture and musical roots.

Adding to the night’s significance, Ms. Cathy Hughes, the Founder of Urban One, graced the event with her presence, radiating inspiration to everyone in attendance. It was a memorable moment to see such a legendary figure supporting the community and local talent.

Families, friends, and music lovers from across the city came together to enjoy this free concert series under the summer sky. With DJ Face and DJ Rico spinning the perfect mixes and Vic Jagger leading the festivities, the night perfectly set the tone for what’s to come this season.
