Graphic Designer with TS/SCI

The qualified candidate shall have expert capabilities for graphics image creation and manipulation. Shall be intimately familiar with the operation of major industry graphics manipulation software, allowing for creation of web portal customer graphic images. Produce visual solutions to communicate messages to users. Must work will be two-dimensional and used within a range of media, including advertising campaigns, posters, organizational communications and websites. Meet with managers to develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the mission objectives. Work with a wide range of media, including Adobe Creative Suite, plotters, and printers. Shall proofread two dimensional media to produce accurate and high quality work. Should be able to communicate with customers to define requirements to help define and initiate custom graphics for SharePoint 2003/2007 solutions, websites and custom web applications. Develops design briefs by gathering information and data through research. Think creatively to produce new graphic ideas and concepts. Use innovation to redefine and design PowerPoint slide presentations and briefs within the constraints of time manager objectives. Present finalized ideas and concepts to managers.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. This position requires 7 years of experience (an Associate’s degree may substitute 2 years, while a Bachelor’s degree substitutes 3 years of experience). An industry-recognized IT certification also is required.
