The nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards dropped, with some of everyone’s favorite shows. Netflix’s ‘When They See Us’ earned five major nominations. The show itself is nominated for Best Limited Series, Jharrel Jerome is nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series/TV Movie and both Niecy Nash and Aunjanue Ellis are nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series. For outstanding lead actor, Anthony Anderson in ‘Black-ish’ and Don Cheadle in ‘Black Monday’. In the supporting categories, Asante Black, Marsha Stephanie Blake and Michael K. Williams are also nominated for their work in the limited series. ‘Pose’ is nominated for Best Drama Series, while standout Billy Porter is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series alongside ‘This Is Us’ star Sterling K.
