While the government shutdown continues, there are many families that need assistance and The Capital Area Food Bank is ready to help. There will be pop-up markets outside of 5 Giant locations in the DC area on Saturday between 9am and 12pm. Each location will serve up to 250 people and furloughed Federal employees must present a valid ID or Federal contractor ID.
The pop-up markets will be outside of the following Giant locations:
- (DC) Brentwood – 1050 Brentwood Road, Washington, DC
- (MD) Campus Way South – 10480 Campus Way South, Largo, MD
- (MD) Allentown Rd – 7074 Allentown Road, Camp Springs, MD
- (MD) Rockville Pike – 12051 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD
- (VA) Richmond Hwy – 6800 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA
