It takes two “Regina’s” to make a thing go right!  Regina King and Regina Hall received two prestigious awards at the New York Film Critic’s Circle Awards and that’s giving them the pre-Oscar buzz!

Regina Hall won Best Actress Award in an indie film Support the Girls.  She played Lisa Conroy a general manager at a sports bar.  She is the first Black actress to win the Best Actress award in the New York Film Critics Circle and we are talking in an 83 year old history!

Regina King also received an award for the Best Supporting Actress in her role as Sharon Rivers in “If Beale Street Could Talk”. If King wins the 2019 Oscar it will be long overdue for her hard work of 30 years.

We are looking forward to the 2019 Oscars and will keep you posted!!
