According to TMZ, Hip Hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight strikes a plea deal with the Los Angeles County court on a 2015 manslaughter case. It is reported that Knight will receive 28 years in prison with 3 1/2 years credited for time served. He will also be eligible for parole in 3 years.
Knight was arrested for an incident that occurred in the parking lot of Tam’s Burgers in Compton, California. Surveillance footage shows Knight putting his car in reverse, running over and killing 55 year old Terry Carter. Knight was initially facing life in prison for murder.
