Aretha Franklin’s family is reportedly planning to hold a public memorial service & open casket viewing for her at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit, Michigan. There will be a four-day celebration of life with a number of events and performances in Detroit honoring the Queen of Soul. Details are still being finalized. A date for the memorial service has not been set.
