Former NFL cheerleader Shayla Stevens is not playing when it comes to collecting her check for being hit in the face with a bottle by rapper Da Brat in a 2007 nightclub incident.
Stevens face was seriously injured causing brain damage, permanent scars, and mental pain. Da Brat served three years in prison for attacking Stevens. While in prison she was sued by Stevens who was awarded $6.4 million.

According to reports, Da Brat has yet to pay any of the award money, causing Stevens to file additional documents in California to go after her paycheck. This will allow Stevens to go after Da Brat’s assets and property in that state.
After seeing the newly filed documents, a judge has ordered Da Brat to pay an additional $1,306,301.37 to Stevens. Let’s hope those Dish Nation checks are hefty because it looks like a wage garnishment is coming in Da Brat’s near future.
