Music mogul Jay-Z finally admitted in an interview with New York Times that he had been unfaithful to his wife, Beyonce. This is a major turning point because it’s the first time that Jay-Z has explicitly said that he had been unfaithful. However; he still did not elaborate on the identity of “Becky with the good hair.”
“You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions,” said Jay-Z, citing a difficult childhood that resulted in a tendency to isolate himself. “So even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect . . . . In my case, like, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.
Now that Jay-Z and Beyonce are back on good terms, could there be another joint album in their future? Only time will tell.
