According to a recent report by Daily Mail, Steve Harvey is currently feeling backlash from the decision he made 10 months ago to meet with newly elected President Donald Trump.

His newly re-launched show “Steve” that moved from Chicago to L.A. debuted on September 5 with very low ratings that indicates Harvey’s black audience did not follow him post his meeting with Trump.

A source close to production told DailyMail.com that People just hate the show. He wanted to do a late-night feel for the show, but he’s on a big stage with a desk and a lot of open space and nothing about the show is engaging or warm. People just aren’t into it at all.”

Harvey’s game show Family Feud slipped in ratings and his audience for the variety show Little Big Shots has dropped by almost half. For the first time Harvey is being beat in ratings by Wendy Williams and seeing similar ratings to shows like Rachael Ray and Jerry Springer.

The source also revealed that it’s likely the ‘Steve’ show will be canceled at the rate it’s going: ‘But doing a daily talk show out of Los Angeles costs big dollars and with his current ratings, there’s no way in hell WME-IMG can continue to bleed money like this into a sinking ship.’

Could this also be a dose of bad karma coming back to revisit Steve Harvey for his harsh comments made towards his Chicago staff members?
