A top Adidas executive and four assistant coaches were charged on Tuesday with using hundreds of thousands of dollars to bribe star athletes into choosing certain schools, agents, and shoe sponsors.

Two schools were identified in the lawsuit as Miami and Louisville, which the latter is already on NCAA probation over a sex scandal.

The feds say as much as $150,000 supplied by Adidas was promised to at least three different high school players with intent of persuading them to attend the schools Adidas sponsors (Miami & Louisville).

The money was split among the players and their families, as well as the coaches who used their influence to persuade the students. Several others were named in the case including star recruit Brian Bowen, who prosecutors say received $100K for going with Louisville.
