Charles Barkley does not think today’s NBA players are earning their $40-50 million salaries after the league announced a lighter NBA schedule that reduces travel during the regular season.

Players will no longer have to play as many back-to-back games throughout the regular season in efforts to reduce wear-and-tear and promote rest.

Barkley said, “These poor babies can’t play back-to-back games…They’re making $20-, $30-, $40 million a year. But we want to make it convenient for them. At $40 million a year, we can’t stress ’em out.”

Do you think he has a point about players being treated like babies?
