Coming out of Cincinnati, Ohio in the late 70s, Zapp were leaders of the funk era which earned the band mainstream acclaim and recognition as pioneers of American funk.
They originally consisted of four brothers Roger, Larry, Lester, and Terry Troutman. Other members include Bobby Glover, Sherman Fleetwood, Gregory Jackson, Eddie Barber, and Jenetta Boyce.
