Earlier this week, Houston megachurch pastor Joel Osteen claimed his church was too flooded for Hurricane Harvey relief. However, social media posts of Lakewood Church’s exterior and parking lots proved otherwise. After receiving significant pressure on social media to open the doors of the church for displaced residents, reports are now coming in that the church is preparing to help those in need.
