In TV news, there’s a big shake-up at ABC… Shonda Rhimes has decided to take her talents to Netflix for a multi-year production deal. She has ended her 15-year relationship with ABC Studios but will still be involved w/ current shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” & “Scandal” (which will end soon anyway). Shonda Rhimes says the move is based on her vision for herself as a storyteller and the evolution of her company – Shondaland – which will begin producing a number of new series for Netflix. The financial info about the deal has not been disclosed but sources say that Shonda was reportedly making about $10 million a year under her ABC Studios deal and the new Netflix deal is even more.
