Wrestling icon Ric Flair looks to have another big fight on his hands. Flair, a 16-time Wrestling champion was hospitalized August 12th but things may have taken a turn for the worse. Friday, Flair’s management team confirmed that the legend was admitted the hospital for “routine monitoring.”

However, Monday morning his team tweeted that Flair needed “prayers and positive energy” as the Champ was dealing with some “tough medical issues.”

Flair has beat the odds may times before, most notebly October 4th, 1975. Before his career took off Flair along with 4 other people were in a plane crash that broke his back in three places. After doctors told Flair he would never wrestle again, he fought back and became a 16-Time wrestling champ. This November, Flair is scheduled to be profiled in an ESPN 30 for 30 series documentary.
