While Marshawn Lynch suited up with intentions to play during Saturday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, but chose to sit on the water cooler instead of standing for the national anthem.

In a 20-10 loss for the Raiders, Lynch chose to take a seat for his first game post retirement after being traded by the Seattle Seahawks to Oakland.

Raiders coach Jack Del Rio had no clue that Lynch planned to sit out during the traditional part of the game. The team quarterback E.J. Manuel said the team supports Lynch’s decision.
