One Baltimore officer has been suspended and two others placed on administrative leave after the public defender’s office alerted prosecutors to body camera footage showing drugs being planted and a man placed in jail afterwards.

Police cameras have a feature that saves 30 seconds of video before activation. In that 30 seconds the officer can be seen placing a soup can with drugs in a trash filled area.

Lt. Gene Ryan, president of the local police union has urged people not to jump to conclusions. Police are looking into the possibility that the officers may have replaced drugs that they had already discovered in order to document their discovery with their body cameras on.

Either way, this does not look good with such high tension between police and black communities. Get more details on this story HERE.
