As if we all needed to be taken back down memory lane when the infamous O.J. Simpson trial was aired in 1995, it looks like we’ll get to see his fate determined on TV again this Thursday.

In a live 90-minute special, Outside the Lines Special, ESPN is set to air the proceedings of Simpson’s parole hearing to determine if he’ll be allowed to walk free.

It’s reported that about 30 news organizations have registered to cover the hearing. During the hearing, Simpson will not appear in person to meet the four parole commissioners voting on his case.

He will appear via videoconference from the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada where he’s being held for the 2008 conviction of robbery and kidnapping.

Simpson is currently serving a 9 to 33 year prison sentence and if paroled he could be freed as early as October 1. Do you think the media parade will have any effect on the outcome of his hearing?
