More details surrounding the death of ‘True Blood’ actor Nelsan Ellis (who played the character Lafayette) is being revealed from his family. According to relatives, his heart failure was caused by alcohol withdrawal which also caused him to suffer from a blood infection, kidney failure, swollen liver, and his blood pressure plummeted. Nelsan Ellis’ family says he was ashamed of his addiction and hid it from the public for years.
