The Houston Rockets didn’t hold anything back when they agreed to sign James Harden to a four-year $228 million contract extension.
This makes his deal larger than any other previous NBA contracts, tipping Stephen Curry’s $201 million deal he signed just a few weeks ago.
Fellow baller Chris Paul had a few choice words for Harden’s deal.
Harden is still in his existing contract for another two seasons. This is fresh off what’s being considered as his best season averaging 29.1 points, an NBA-leading 11.2 assists and 8.1 rebounds and finished second in the MVP race to former Oklahoma City teammate Russell Westbrook.
