We gotta show some love to Google for opening the “Howard West” program on its campus California Campus,

where over 25 juniors and seniors who are computer science majors will spend 12 weeks at Google this summer to learn coding from senior Google engineers all while getting a course credit for their studies. It’s a part of Google’s effort to recruit more software engineers from historically black colleges and universities, where African Americans account for just 1% of the workforce.
