Angela’s fiancé proposed to her over the Thanksgiving holidays and she said yes! By the New Year they had all of their wedding participants confirmed for the ceremony in November of this year. Angela chose her closest friend of the last 12 years to be her maid of honor since she moved away from many of her childhood friends and chose several of her childhood friends and cousins as her bridesmaids.
Now that the real work has begun with choosing a venue and dresses, it seems Angela’s maid of honor is nowhere to be found, while her one of her childhood friends has stepped up the most. Angela realizes she probably chose the wrong friend as the maid of honor but thinks it could cause issues if she switches their roles. Tonight Angela is asking would it be hurtful to ask her closest friend to step aside as a bridesmaid while allowing her old childhood friend to take the role or is Angela in the right for whatever she chooses on her wedding date?
