Juan is 42 and has been divorced for 5 years. He’s crazy about his new girlfriend of 6 months, 30 year old Angel. It’s been a while since Juan’s felt this way about someone so on Valentine’s Day he went all out with a romantic dinner, a nice diamond-charm gold necklace, and threw in a car wash membership for the next year.
The more the night went on Juan started to realize Angel hadn’t gotten him anything for Valentine’s day and he went to bed confused. His ex-wife always got him something for the occasion and so have his friend’s wives. Juan wants to know; Is it considered old-school for men to receive gifts on Valentine’s day or his younger girlfriend just inconsiderate?
