It’s August, and not only does that mean we only have a few weeks left to enjoy basking out in the beach or picnicking in the park, but it’s also both extremely hot and humid.

For those of us experiencing 95-degree temperatures this summer, we’re just trying not to arrive drenched in sweat and stay hydrated!

Here are three go-to outfits that will help you beat the heat. HelloBeautiful shows you how to get the look and stay cool, but keep it professional — all at the same time.

Stay Cool In Culottes:

A pair of culottes will allow your body to breathe. Pair the wide-leg pants with a flowy top and play with neutral patterns for a resort-style look.

Pair with a vest to either dress it up or down. I chose a military camouflage vest for weekend vibes and paired it with python loafers.

Look Lovely With Layers:

If you live in a city where you commute to work, that walk from your house to the train or bus can leave you looking like you just completed a kickboxing class. Try out some layers, wearing a pencil skirt and a camisole, carrying your light cardigan in hand until you get in office. (Avoid blazers in this heat, beauties, unless it’s an open front blazer!).

Dress It Up:

You can’t go wrong with a sleeveless dress and a cropped blazer. The lack of sleeves makes the blazer your only light layer. Choose an a-line cut to allow your body to breathe, too.
