The Star Wars trilogy is getting a rare re-release on the big screen, this according to the latest reports.

Henry Mazza, Alamo Drafthouse’s VP of Special Events, had this to say about the special news:

“It’s always been a dream to show the original Star Wars trilogy again – somehow, someway. Seeing the original trilogy on the big screen for the first time is a real life-altering event and just a supreme amount of fun. When the films became available to book for screenings like these, we jumped at the chance to do something big.”

Tickets will go on sale at ReturnOfTheTrilogy.com on May 4 – aka, Star Wars Day. We’ll keep you updated as more information surfaces, so stay tuned.

President Obama And First Lady Welcome Children To White House For Halloween

The upcoming Spider-Man movie has a new title.

Starring Zendaya as Michelle and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters next Summer.

From Deadline:

Sony’s Tom Rothman explained that the title Homecoming has a high school ring to it, but also as actor Tom Holland said, ”Peter (Parker) is trying to find his way home.” Rothman gave a shout out to former Sony motion picture group chair Amy Pascal, who is producing the film.

In addition, Holland introduced footage where Parker enters his home to find Aunt May with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Stark tells Parker that he has applied for a special grant, and that he has been accepted. This is all news to Parker. The clip was capped off by the scene where Spidey makes his cameo in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, which Disney is actually showing to exhibitors and CinemaCon attendees tomorrow.

Tune in at a theater near you on July 7, 2017.

The first Doctor Strange trailer is making its rounds and it looks pretty interesting.

“[Benedict] Cumberbatch plays Stephen Vincent Strange, a former neurosurgeon who becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme and primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats,” writes Variety.

Matilda Mara Wilson

Child star Mara Wilson (Matilda) is releasing a memoir soon and has debuted the official cover photo. Moreover, it sounds like it’ll be just the read we’ve all been waiting for, according to the official description:

Mara Wilson has always felt a little young and a little out of place: as the only child on a film set full of adults, the first daughter in a house full of boys, the sole clinically depressed member of the cheerleading squad, a valley girl in New York and a neurotic in California, and an adult the world still remembers as a little girl. Tackling everything from how she first learned about sex on the set of Melrose Place, to losing her mother at a young age, to getting her first kiss (or was it kisses?) on a celebrity canoe trip, to not being “cute” enough to make it in Hollywood, these essays tell the story of one young woman’s journey from accidental fame to relative (but happy) obscurity. But they also illuminate a universal struggle: learning to accept yourself, and figuring out who you are and where you belong.
