A 3-year-old girl in Philadelphia was found chewing on a small bag filled with crack cocaine while she was in daycare. Authorities say one of the staff member’s saw the child ingesting the packet. Doctors found traces of the substance in the child and have kept her in the hospital for further observation. [CBS Philadelphia]

An Indiana woman, who has been missing for more than 40 years, was found alive in a small Texan town living under a different name. The woman reportedly left her home in 1974 after giving birth to her third child because she felt she was too young to be a mother. When found, she didn’t give any explanation as to why she left her family behind. [KHOU]

Spanish police have busted a gang of 20 people from four different countries who allegedly used helicopters to smuggle in hashish from Morocco to Spain. Two helicopters, a marijuana plantation, 1.7 tons of hashish, and a truck were seized during the bust as well. [ABC News]
