Eddie Murphy Receives American Comedy’s Highest Award

Last night at the Kennedy Center, comedy icon Eddie Murphy was awarded the highest honor in American comedy, The Mark Twain Prize For American Humor. For those in attendance, they got a special treat: An Eddie Murphy mini stand-up routine. Murphy riffed on Bill Cosby among other things for about 5 minutes. He was then saluted by more than a dozen friends and contemporaries.
