Yara Shahidi will be at the 2015 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion! She talks to the TJMS about her role on Black-ish and her love for education (the young star has taken courses at Oxford and has an interest in STEM research).
How her love for education started:
“I’ve always loved history and school and learning. I was reading at a young age. I also associated school with learning. Even when acting came into my life it took a back seat to my education.”
