More footage from the night of Ray and Janay Rice‘s elevator altercation has surfaced, and it seems the couple made up rather quickly after all was said and done.
Despite the severity of the situation that they found themselves after Ray knocked Janay out in an Atlantic City hotel, the couple was seen being affectionate in security video obtained by ABC News.
Mashable.com reports that in the original 45-minute video, Janay could be seen shoving Ray after she regained consciousness. That wasn’t shown in the shorter version of the video that ABC News released, but she was seen crying while casino staff administered first aid. Hotel workers were also shown keeping Ray and Janay apart.

The couple was later led into another elevator once they were in handcuffs, and they spotted pressing up against one another and sharing a tearful kiss once an officer had stepped out from between them.
There’s no word on why the couple was allowed in the same small, enclosed space so soon after their fight at this time. One thing is certain, though, and that is that this cannot possibly be healthy for any relationship.
