The Trumpet Awards On TV One This Easter Sunday
The 22nd Annual Trumpet Awards will air this Easter Sunday, April 20, on TV One at 8/7C.
The Trumpet Awards acknowledges the accomplishments of Black Americans who have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of life for all and who augment the the global society by partnering with the cause of justice and equality.
This year’s ceremony is hosted by Melisa De’ Sousa and Laz Alonzo and features appearances by Stephanie Mills, Donnie McClurkin , Kid ‘N Play and more, plus a special tribute to Nelson Mandela and music legends Gamble & Huff.
