Jenifer Hudson was pure perfection on the red carpet at the 2014 BET Honors. Love the peek-a-boo effect of the black bra and plunge neck of the white peplum mini dress. The fishnets and pointed toe pumps complimented the 80’s look and the jagged pixie haircut brought the look home. What can be said about J-Hud’s face? FLAWLESS. I love how the soulful diva bucked tradition by leaving the evening gown on the rack and opting for a funky classy look.

Without question, Vashawn Mitchell was my choice for best dressed male. I love it when a man is not afraid to take a fashion risk and actually pulls it off! The double breasted suit was an interesting departure from the classic black tux, and somehow the custom snake print bow tie, Christian Louboutin slippers and rust colored fedora all worked together for the greater fashion good. Vashawn owned his look and the BET Honors red carpet.
