In “The Ultimate Life” directed by Michael Landon, Jr., Mann’s character counsels a billionaire who hasn’t taken time to truly appreciate his accomplishments. The story centers on his grandson, who has gotten so caught up in running his grandfather’s foundation that he’s missing out on his life.

Through the grandfather’s journals, the grandson eventually learns to value the important things in his life. The movie is both the sequel and prequel to “The Ultimate Gift.” Mann says while he enjoyed the work, his big mistake was agreeing to do his own stunts.

“You’ll see in the movie I was running beside the train, and I said ‘I can do this’ until I looked down and saw those wheels that could cut me in half. I yelled ‘Cut’ myself!”
