Lyfe Jennings has had his ups and downs in life and love, but his pain has been a gift to his fans through his talent for making beautiful muslc. Whether it’s “Must Be Nice” or “Will I Ever” Jennings’ heartfelt music has made him a sought-after live performer. His personal story has also endeared him to fans who enjoy seeing someone recover from hardship.
As a younger man, Lyfe was imprisoned for a decade on arson charges. In 2010, he was imprisoned again after a conviction for a 2008 domestic altercation involving a gun and a police chase. Fortunately, Jennings is now a free man, has put those missteps behind him and is releasing a new recording, ” x on October 8. The first single “Boomerang” is out now. As for his life plan going forward, Jennings says he’s learned from his experiences.
