16-year-old Norwegian, Lars Andreas Bjercke downloaded an application on his smart phone, which aims to attract foxes to the phone. The phone was imitating rabbit sounds.

The application worked so well that the fox circled around Lars’s yard for several nights. At one point, Lars decided to put the phone in the middle of the road. The fox soon walked up to the phone. At first, he was afraid of it, but soon dared to get closer and smell it. Suddenly, the fox grabbed the phone and ran into the bushes.

Lars was amused with the situation, and he ran after the fox. The fox, however, had a different plan, disappearing with the phone.

Lars the later called the phone and, surprisingly, the fox answered.

“There was a crackling sound and some noise,” Lars told Verdens Gang.

The next day, Lars’s friend wondered why he had sent him the odd text message. The message was in strange letters and numbers. Lars knew that the sender was the fox.

“I FRY o a0ab 34348tu åaugjoi zølbmosdji jsøg ijio sjiw,” it said in the message.

Lars still has not found his phone. He has seen the fox lurking around, but it obviously had dumped it somewhere.
