Much to the outrage of the majority of the nation, George Zimmerman was found ‘not guilty’ in the shooting death of 17-year-old Florida teen Trayvon Martin. A jury of 6 women deliberated for more than 16 hours and came to a decision late Saturday night. In light of the verdict, the question of further action and recourse for the Martin family remains. According to legal experts there are two options in continuing to seek justice for Trayvon: a civil lawsuit or a civil rights lawsuit.
