Kanye West just can’t catch a break. First he dealt with listening to Ray J sing about the mother of his unborn child in his newly released track, “I Hit It First.” Although Ray J claims the song is not about Kim Kardashian, given their history and the cover art for the single, it’s very hard to believe.

The drama doesn’t stop there, West is being sued by the children of a David Pryor for a lyric used in his hit Gold Digger. David Pryor, a deceased musician, was a member of the band Thunder & Lightning. He wrote and performed a song titled, “Bumpin’ Bus Stop”, which his children claim Kanye sampled without permission.

The lyric in question: “Get down girl, go ‘head, get down”. The children claim that their father’s voice can be heard repeating “get down.” The children, who own a portion of the rights to the song, have filed a lawsuit for damages and are requesting monetary compensation.
