March 9, 2013 Georgetown University played it’s last Big East Conference basketball game vs. perennial rival Syracuse. The Hoyas are moving to a new home w/the “Catholic 7” and The Orangemen are moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference. Theirs’ was perhaps the most intense and hotly contested rivalry in the Big East.
