I remember El Debarge dropping by the studios of Majic. He seemed to be in a good place with his new cd in stores and playing on the radio. We even talked about who would be best to sing the Switch songs that his late brother Bobby had done. Of course, El said he would be best. I had to agreee. A couple of weeks later, just before he was scheduled to go on tour, word came that El was admitted to rehab. Now, he’s talking about that time in his life.
