When asked about the kick that melted Twitter – when Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal with less than a minute left in their AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots ending their Super Bowl hopes, Ray Lewis took it “like a man”. But here’s what Billy had to say about the kick after the game:
“I just went out there, the timing seemed a little bit off, and I just didn’t convert. It’s just that simple. It’s a 32-yard field goal, something that over the course of training camp and the regular season, I probably make a couple thousand of those.”
