(Washington, DC) — Ward 5 residents met last night to talk about leadership concerns as they await an official letter of resignation from disgraced councilman Harry Thomas Junior.
The process leading to a special election can’t start until Thomas submits an official resignation letter, and that hasn’t happened yet.
At-large councilman and Ward 5 resident Vincent Orange says he and his staff are there to help. Orange is up for re-election to his at-large seat in April. Last night’s meeting was held at the Israel Baptist Church in Northeast.
