It’s been some time since Diana Ross had a record on the radio and Gil Scott-Heron only had a couple of radio hits, but both left a lasting impression on the music industry. It’s a shame that Gil is gone and will not be able to accept the award himself, but it will be a great chance for people to understand what he was all about.
