UPDATE: Leslie Johnson was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison for her role in a corruption scheme led by her husband, a federal judge ruled Friday.
A couple of days after former PG County executive Jack Johnson received a 7 year sentence for corruption his wife, a former council councilmember, Leslie Johnson faces her own day. She faces anywhere from 1 year to 18 months.

On Friday, a judge will sentence Leslie Johnson for her role in a corruption case that shook Prince George’s County government.
Johnson pleaded guilty on June 30 to conspiracy to commit witness and evidence tampering. The charges were connected to a corruption probe that netted her husband, former county executive Jack Johnson. Both Johnsons were arrested on November 12, 2010.
