(Upper Marlboro, MD)  —  Two Prince George’s County police officers are under indictment in the March 2010 beating of a University of Maryland student in College Park.  Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks says Officers Reginald Baker and James Harrison were caught on tape beating Jack McKenna as students poured into the streets to celebrate the men’s basketball team’s victory over Duke.  Tuesday, Alsobrooks announced a grand jury handed up indictments charging Baker and Harrison with first and second degree assault charges.  McKenna suffered a head injury and a broken wrist during the beating.
