(Washington, DC)  —  Revenues from DC’s red-light cameras are lower than projected.  Fines from the red-light cameras have only brought in eight and a half-million-dollars instead of the 20-million city leaders expected. Although camera collections are down, DC Chief Financial Officer Natwar Gandhi says revised revenue estimates show that the District’s economy is improving.  He says the city will get an additional 107-million-dollars in revenue for the rest of fiscal 2011which is more than the 77-million projected in February.
