(Washington, DC) — You could have to wait longer for a Metro train on the weekends, if the transit agency moves ahead with a package of proposed service cuts. In addition to longer waits on Metrorail, leaders also want to terminate some bus lines and eliminate discounts on certain bus routes in Anacostia. A series of public hearings is being held this week. Hearings will be held today in Alexandria and Northwest DC. Meetings will be held tomorrow in Montgomery County and Arlington.
